A major automotive manufacturer needed a critical mold made for the fabrication of an Electrical Connector. We were sent the blue prints and reviewed the following information.

Technical Specifications
With strict tolerances required by the manufacturer we looked at what we had to do and analyzed the data. The delivery date was firm.

• Stationary half: slide concept
• Design for laminated construction
• Intricate coring
• Zero flash acceptable
• Balanced fill pattern

Analytical Process
Through careful analysis, ProMold - Gauer, Inc. was able to engineer the right solution for this application. We reviewed the customer's specifications and made recommendations which ultimately improved the mold's design and performance. We outlined a production schedule that included inspection, fit and assembly. We also built into our production schedule a pre-shipment mold trial as well as a thorough evaluation.

In order to meet all of the customer's stringent tolerance and product requirements we worked closely with their designers and designated suppliers.
